19118_Firemen_fighting_fire_cartoon. Tom & Jerry,live and work at the local firehouse. They play checkers, make fun of with the sometimes live picture of the fire chief. One night they are ready to go to sleep but, all of a sudden, the fire alarm goes off. They get into their uniforms, slide down the pole, drive a a steam-driven firetruck helped by a horse. They make it to the house that's on fire. The frightened people beg for help, and Tom and Jerry water-hose it. The horse tries to draw water from a nearby trough, the hose takes on a life of its own, and even the safety net doesn't work that well. A lovely maiden drops into the arms of Jerry. Eventually, the horse helps with the drawn water but house explodes. gag in which an old man is screaming to be rescued. Instead, Tom and Jerry move over to the next window, where a blonde woman jumps out, and her skirt flies up.
